Section 246-335-001. Scope and purpose.

(1) These rules implement chapter 70.127 RCW which requires the department of health to set minimum health and safety standards for in-home services agencies licensed to provide home health, home care, hospice, and hospice care center services.

(2) Applicants and licensees must meet the requirements of this chapter and other applicable state and local laws.

(3) This chapter does not apply to services provided by persons exempt from requirements of chapter 70.127 RCW as provided for in RCW 70.127.040 and 70.127.050.
