Section 388-145-1450. What additional qualifications must the crisis residential center direct care staff have?

- (1) At least fifty percent of the direct care staff at a CRC must have completed:(a) A bachelor's degree; or(b) At least two years of college and one year of work in a group residential program for adolescents; and(c) Direct care staff at a CRC may substitute experience for education on a year-for-year basis.(2) The remaining direct care staff at a CRC must have a minimum of a high school diploma or high school equivalency course of study (GED/HSEC) and one of the following:(a) One year of successful experience working with youth in a group setting; or(b) One year of successful experience as a foster parent; and(c) Two years of college may be substituted for the required experience.(3) The primary duties of the direct care staff at a crisis residential center are the care, supervision, and behavioral management of youth.
