Section 296-96-08160. What requirements apply to counterweights?

- (1) Counterweights, where used, must be in a guide or track.(2) Counterweights must not be of sufficient weight to cause undue slackening of any conveyance hoisting rope or chain during acceleration or retardation of the conveyance.
