Section 284-23-630. Assignees and beneficiaries.

Prior to the payment of any accelerated benefit, the insurer shall obtain from any assignee or irrevocable beneficiary a signed consent to the terms of the payout. If the insurer paying the accelerated benefit is itself an assignee, its own written consent is not required.
