Section 284-17-610. Insurance producers and business entities home state.

- (1) An individual insurance producer may claim only one state as the home state at a time.(a) Individual insurance producers that claim multiple states as their home state must choose one state to be their home state for all insurance licensing purposes. This will usually be the state chosen for tax reporting.(b) Insurance producers or business entities that do not claim Washington to be their home state are Washington nonresidents for purposes of Titles 48 RCW and 284 WAC.(2) Business entities that have a location in this state must have a resident license.
