Section 246-840-528. Degree requirements for nursing faculty teaching in a graduate nursing education program not leading to licensure as an advanced registered nurse practitioner.

- For graduate nursing programs preparing nurses in advanced degrees, nursing faculty teaching nursing must meet the following qualifications:(1) A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and nursing education program that is accredited by a nursing education accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education and is at or above the program level being taught; or a bachelor's degree in nursing from a nursing education program that is accredited by a nursing education accrediting body and graduate degree in a health or education related field from an accredited college or university; and(2) Demonstrated specialization, expertise, or preparation and experience for the courses being taught.
