Section 16-302-005. Seed certification—Purpose.

Under the authority of chapter 15.49 RCW, the department adopts rules to establish standards for seed certification in Washington state in order to maintain and make available sources of high quality seeds and propagating material of plant varieties so grown and distributed as to ensure genetic identity and genetic purity.
