Section 137-56-040. Eligibility criteria.

- (1) An offender is eligible for work/training release provided that:(a) He or she has a minimum security status;(b) He or she is within the last one hundred eighty days of their confinement.(2) Offenders convicted of rape in the first degree shall not be eligible for work/training release at any time during the first three years of confinement.(3) Offenders convicted of murder first degree are not eligible for work/training release, without the written approval of the secretary.(4) Offender who violates condition(s) of community supervision and is sanctioned to a term less than one hundred eighty days.[Statutory Authority: RCW 72.01.090, 72.09.130, and 9.94.070.
