    Under RCW 34.05.230, following is one policy and interpretive statement issued and one policy and interpretive statement repealed by the department of labor and industries, insurance services division.

    Title: Policy 61.06 - Workers' Compensation Insurance Coverage for Volunteers.
    Date Issued: August 1, 2016.
    Description: This policy was amended to incorporate new legislation by removing obsolete language and replacing with current information. ESSB 6293 created a new reporting option for employers who cover their volunteers for medical only workers' compensation. The new law also expands eligibility for medical only coverage to a larger group of individuals. Labor and industries adopted emergency rules to implement these changes effective June 9, 2016, with permanent rule making to become effective October 7, 2016.

    Repeal Date: August 1, 2016.
