Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 28B.30.150.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The rules are revised to update the procedures for requesting public records from Washington State University. The revision incorporates suggestions and wording from the model rules provided by the attorney general's office.

Process for Developing New Rule: Reviewed internally at many levels before proposal.
