    Title of Rule and Other Identifying Information: Repealing WAC 246-817-340 Recording requirements for all prescription drugs.
    NOTICE
    THIS RULE IS BEING PROPOSED UNDER AN EXPEDITED RULE-MAKING PROCESS THAT WILL ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR THE AGENCY TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS, PREPARE A SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC IMPACT STATEMENT, OR PROVIDE RESPONSES TO THE CRITERIA FOR A SIGNIFICANT LEGISLATIVE RULE. IF YOU OBJECT TO THIS USE OF THE EXPEDITED RULE-MAKING PROCESS, YOU MUST EXPRESS YOUR OBJECTIONS IN WRITING AND THEY MUST BE SENT TO Jennifer Santiago, Department of Health, P.O.     Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: The dental quality assurance commission (commission) proposes to repeal WAC 246-817-340 as it is redundant to WAC 246-817-305 (3)(i)(i) through (iv).
    Reasons Supporting Proposal: The commission adopted new WAC 246-817-305 on April 17, 2016. WAC 246-817-305 (3)(i)(i) through (iv) duplicates all requirements listed in WAC 246-817-340. RCW 34.05.353 (2)(d) allows expedited rule making for other rules of the agency or of another agency govern [governing] the same activity as the rule, making the rule redundant.
    Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW 18.32.0365 and 18.32.655.
    Statute Being Implemented: RCW 18.32.002.
    Rule is not necessitated by federal law, federal or state court decision.
