Notice of Interpretive or Policy Statement

In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list of policy and interpretive statements issued by the health care authority (HCA).

HCA

Legal and Administrative Services

Document Title: Provider Notice #13-40.

Subject: ProviderOne claims processing system for the medicaid program of the HCA will implement further enhanced editing to apply benefit limitations per existing policy for all therapies.

Effective for dates of service on and after July 1, 2013, the medicaid program of the HCA will:

.	Apply limitations for physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT) and speech therapy services (ST) in the following agency guides:

?	Outpatient Rehabilitation Medicaid Provider Guide;
?	Home Health Medicaid Provider Guide; and the
?	Outpatient Hospital Services Medicaid Provider Guide.

.	Update the maximum allowable fees in the following fee schedules:

?	Outpatient rehabilitation program fee schedule;
?	Home health services (acute care services) fee schedule; and the
?	Outpatient prospective payment system and outpatient hospitals fee schedule.
