The District and Municipal Court Judges Association having recommended the adoption of the proposed amendment to GR 29-Presidint Judge in Superior Court District and Limited Jurisdiction Court District-Employment Contract, and the Court having determined that the proposed amendment will aid in the prompt and orderly administration of justice and further determined that an emergency exits which necessitates an early adoption;Now, therefore, it is hereby
ORDERED:
(a) That the amendment as attached hereto is adopted.
(b) That pursuant to the emergency provisions of GR 9 (j)(1), the amendment will be published expeditiously and become effective upon publication.

Judicial ServicesEmployment Contracts. A part-time judicial officer may contract with a municipal or county authority for salary and benefitsto serve as a judicial officer. Thepersonal serviceemployment contract shall not contain provisions which conflict with this rule, the Code of Judicial Conduct or statutory judicial authority, or which would create an impropriety or the appearance of impropriety concerning the judge's activities.
