Purpose: Amend recreational fishing rules.
Citation of Existing Rules Affected by this Order: Repealing WAC 220-310-19000A; and amending WAC 220-310-190.
Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW
77.04.012, 77.04.020, and 77.12.047.
Under RCW
34.05.350 the agency for good cause finds that immediate adoption, amendment, or repeal of a rule is necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, or general welfare, and that observing the time requirements of notice and opportunity to comment upon adoption of a permanent rule would be contrary to the public interest.
Reasons for this Finding: This emergency rule is needed to ensure a safe successful fishery. Fish will be stocked two days prior to the event to acclimate them before the event. On the day of the event, only preregistered veterans will be permitted to fish throughout the lake. There is insufficient time to adopt permanent rules.

WAC 220-310-19000A Freshwater exceptions to statewide rules-Langlois Lake.
Notwithstanding the provisions of WAC 220-310-190, effective 6:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. April 20, 2014, it is permissible to fish in Langlois Lake if the angler is participating in the Project Healing Waters fishing event.
REPEALER
The following section of the Washington Administrative Code is repealed effective 8:01 p.m. April 20, 2014:
