Notice of Interpretive or Policy Statement
In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list of policy and interpretive statements issued by the department of social and health services.
Medicaid Purchasing Administration Division of Healthcare Services
Document Title: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 11-10.Subject: Therapy services.
Effective Date: April 1, 2011.
Document Description: The department intends to submit SPA 11-10 to the medicaid state plan to implement changes to the physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs as mandated by the state legislature in ESHB 1086. The services will be combined into one rehabilitation benefit and the number of visits or units available will be limited for adults, twenty-one years of age and older.
