PROCLAMATION BY THE GOVERNOR
AMENDING PROCLAMATION OF AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, multiple storm fronts during the period beginning January 27 through February 4, 2006 produced strong winds and record amounts of rainfall that resulted in flooding, saturated soils, slope failures, landslides, seawall erosion, fallen trees, and caused extensive damage to the transportation, ports, water supply, electric, and waste water infrastructure in Thurston County;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Christine Gregoire, Governor of the state of Washington, as a result of the aforementioned situation and under Chapters 38.08, 38.52, and 43.06 RCW, do hereby amend the emergency proclamation issued on March 3, 2006, to include and further proclaim that a State of Emergency exists in Thurston County.
