NOTICE

Document Title: Provider Notice #13-90.

Subject: Family Planning Medicaid Provider Guide.

Effective for dates of service on and after January 1, 2014, the medicaid program of the health care authority (HCA) will update the Family Planning Medicaid Provider Guide to:

1. Make stylistic changes.

2. Expand TAKE CHARGE eligibility to include those whose income is two hundred sixty percent of the federal poverty level or less.

3. State that applicants must apply and be rejected for medicaid before applying for TAKE CHARGE.

4. Add language clarifying the delayed pelvic protocol.
