Notice of Interpretive or Policy Statement
In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list of policy and interpretive statements issued by the department of social and health services.
Medicaid Purchasing Administration Division of Rates and Finance
Document Title: Medicaid State Plan Amendment 11-06.Subject: Rural health centers.
Effective Date: January 1, 2011.
Document Description: The department is submitting state plan amendment 11-06 to comply with legislation passed during the December 11, 2010, special session. The legislation directs the department to "reduce cost-based encounter payments to federally-qualified and rural health centers (FQHCs and RHCs) by reinstituting the federal prospective payment system that was replaced by an alternate payment methodology in 2009."
