ISSUANCE OF INTERPRETIVE STATEMENT
This announcement is being published in the Washington State Register pursuant to the requirements of RCW 34.05.230(4).The department of revenue has issued the following property tax advisory:
Property Tax Advisory 14.0.2006 (Transfer of land classified under chapter 84.33 or 84.34 RCW in trust to the United States by a federally recognized Indian Tribe).This advisory is to clarify the guidelines for collection of compensating or additional tax when land classified under chapter 84.33 or 84.34 RCW is transferred in trust to the United States.
