Section 51-50-3103. Temporary structures.

- 3103.1 General. The provisions of this section shall apply to structures erected for a period of less than one hundred eighty days. Tents and other membrane structures erected for a period of less than one hundred eighty days shall comply with the International Fire Code. Those erected for a longer period of time shall comply with applicable sections of this code.EXCEPTION:The building official may authorize unheated tents and yurts under five hundred square feet accommodating an R-1 Occupancy for recreational use as a temporary structure and allow them to be used indefinitely.
