Section 504-26-408. Interim measures.

- (1) While any complaint of sex discrimination is pending, the university may take a number of interim actions in order to ensure the preservation of the educational experience and the overall university environment of the party bringing the complaint. These actions may include, but are not limited to:(a) A no contact order imposed on either party;(b) Residence hall room change for one or more involved parties;(c) Changes in academic schedules or assignments for one or both parties.(2) As stated in the university's housing policies, the university reserves the right to assign roommates, to change room or hall assignments, and/or to consolidate vacancies by requiring residents to move from one room to another in the event such reassignments are determined to be necessary by the university.(3) Interim measures are not sanctions imposed under WAC 504-26-405.[Statutory Authority: RCW 28B.30.150.
