Section 478-116-242. Use of skateboards.

- Skateboard use in pedestrian areas including, but not limited to, walkways, ramps, concourses, and plazas (such as "Red Square"), and on internal university streets and loading areas on the campus, is restricted solely to transporting an individual from one campus destination to another. Any recreational, athletic, or other exhibitional use of skateboards unrelated to transportation is strictly prohibited, unless expressly approved in advance by the appropriate committee on the use of university facilities, pursuant to chapter 478-136 WAC. The use of skateboards for any purpose within parking lots or parking garages is strictly prohibited.[Statutory Authority: RCW 28B.10.560 and 28B.20.130.
