- (1) When an appeal is taken to superior court from a decision of the board rendered in a formal proceeding, the appealing party is responsible for ordering and paying for the transcript of the testimony from the court reporter.(2) If a petition for judicial review of a final order is made, by stipulation the parties may agree to shorten the record to be filed with the court. Either party unreasonably refusing to stipulate to such a limitation, including shortening or selecting only portions of a transcript, may be ordered to pay the additional costs involved as allowed in RCW 34.05.566.
