Section 434-180-250. Revocation or suspension of license.

- (1) The secretary may revoke or suspend a license, pursuant to chapter 34.05 RCW, for failure to comply with any requirement of chapter 19.34 RCW or this chapter, for failure to remain qualified for a license pursuant to chapter 19.34 RCW or this chapter, or for failure to comply with a lawful order of the secretary.(2) The secretary shall inform a licensed certification authority by written order, by mail directed to the mailing address or electronic mail address listed on the licensee's application, of a decision to revoke or suspend the license. The notification shall state when the revocation or suspension shall be effective, which shall not be less than thirty days following the issuance of the order except in the case of a summary suspension pursuant to WAC 434-180-255.(3) If the licensee files an application for an adjudicative hearing, pursuant to WAC 434-180-500, prior to the effective date of revocation or suspension, the suspension or revocation shall not take effect until so ordered by the presiding officer, except in the case of a summary suspension pursuant to WAC 434-180-255.
