- (1) The board shall review recommendations from the director for grant awards at regularly scheduled open public meetings.(2) The board retains the authority and responsibility to accept or deviate from the director's recommendations and make the final decision concerning the funding of an application or change to a funded project. Unless otherwise required by law, the board's decision is the final decision.
