- Each school district participating in the magnet school project shall organize a local advisory committee. The purpose of the committee is to advise the school district in the development and operation of its magnet school program. The committee shall be comprised of not less than thirteen members and is to include representatives from the following groups: School principals, teachers, parents, municipal and community representatives, and students. This committee is to be representative of the local community and its gender and ethnic composition.[Statutory Authority: RCW 28A.150.290 and 28A.150.370.
