- The authority for this chapter is RCW 46.61.385 which authorizes the appointment and operation of school patrols by any public or private school subject to the conditions, procedures, and considerations required by this chapter and such supplemental conditions, procedures, and considerations as any such school may impose which are in the best interest of student safety.[Statutory Authority: RCW 46.61.385.
