Section 392-109-037. Purpose and authority.

- (1) The purpose of this chapter is to provide for the annual election of members to the state board of education by establishing policies and procedures which implement the statutory election process for such positions.(2) Authority for this chapter is RCW 28A.305.102 which authorizes the superintendent of public instruction to adopt rules and procedures for the conduct of election of members to the state board of education.[Statutory Authority: Chapter 28A.305 RCW and 2005 c 497.
