Section 388-891-0685. What are self-employment services?
Latest version.
Self-employment services include consultation and technical assistance to help you establish a small business to become self-employed and equipment, tools, initial stocks and supplies. Before a DVR counselor agrees to an IPE that includes a self-employment outcome, you must complete assessment services, including the development of a business plan that demonstrates that the self-employment you are considering is feasible, sustainable, and results in an employment outcome. DVR does not support hobbies or activities that do not result in an income-producing self-employment outcome.
