Section 388-845-1600. What is respite care?

- Respite care is short-term intermittent care to provide relief for persons who:(1) Live with you, are your primary care providers, and are:(a) Your family members who are paid or unpaid care providers;(b) Nonfamily members who are not paid to provide care for you;(c) Contracted companion home providers paid by DDA to provide support to you; or(d) Licensed children's foster home providers paid by DDA to provide support to you.(2) This service is available in the basic plus, CIIBS, core, and IFS waivers.[Statutory Authority: 2014 c 139, 2014 c 166, 2015 3rd sp.s. c 4, RCW 71A.12.030, and 71A.12.120.
