Section 388-845-1150. What are behavioral health stabilization services?

Behavioral health stabilization services assist persons who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis or meet criteria for enhanced respite or community crisis stabilization services. These services are available in the basic plus, core, CIIBS, IFS, and community protection waivers to individuals determined by behavioral health professionals or DDA to be at risk of institutionalization or hospitalization who need one or more of the following services:

(1) Behavior support and consultation;

(2) Specialized psychiatric services; or

(3) Behavioral health crisis diversion bed services not available to participants on the IFS waiver.
