Section 388-845-0400. What are adult residential care (ARC) services?

- Adult residential care (ARC) facilities may provide residential care to adults. This service is available in the basic plus waiver.(1) An ARC is a licensed assisted living facility for seven or more unrelated adults.(2) Services include, but are not limited to, individual and group activities; assistance with arranging transportation; assistance with obtaining and maintaining functional aids and equipment; housework; laundry; self-administration of medications and treatments; therapeutic diets; cuing and providing physical assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, locomotion and toileting; stand-by one person assistance for transferring.[Statutory Authority: RCW 71A.12.030, 74.08.090 and 2012 c 49.
