Section 388-835-0835. How does DSHS pay a provider?

- (1) DSHS will reimburse a provider for billed service rendered under the ICF/ID contract according to the appropriate rate assigned to the provider.(2) For each resident, DSHS will pay an amount equal to the appropriate rates multiplied by the number of resident days each rate was in effect, less any amount a resident is required to pay (see WAC 388-835-0940).(3) A provider must accept DSHS's reimbursement rates as full compensation for all services the provider is obligated to provide under their contract. The provider must not seek or accept additional compensation any contracted services from or on behalf of a resident.[Statutory Authority: RCW 71A.12.030 and 44.04.280.
