Section 388-829C-270. May a companion home provider manage a client's funds?

- A companion home provider may manage, disperse, and limit access to a client's funds if:(1) There is written consent from the client, when the client has no court appointed legal representative; or(2) There is written consent from the client's court appointed legal representative for making financial decisions for the client; or(3) The companion home provider is the designated payee for the client's earned and unearned income.[Statutory Authority: RCW 71A.12.30 [71A.12.030] and Title 71A RCW.
