Section 388-829C-070. Who must have a background check in the companion home?

- (1) All individuals living in the household, except the client, must have a current DSHS background check if they:(a) Are at least sixteen years old; and(b) Reside in the companion home.(2) Household residents who have not lived in Washington continuously for the previous three years must also have an FBI fingerprint-based background check as required by RCW 43.20A.710.(3) Background checks must be completed every two years or more frequently when requested by the department.[Statutory Authority: RCW 71A.12.30 [71A.12.030] and Title 71A RCW.
