Section 388-829-0250. What is cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training? When is CPR training required?

CPR is an emergency procedure performed in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest. CPR training must be provided by an authorized CPR instructor. Trainees must successfully complete the CPR course and receive a certificate.

CPR is required to be taken within the first sixty days of hire.
