Section 388-825-655. How will I know if I have been disqualified by the background check?

- (1) The department will notify you, and the care provider, the employer, or the licensor if you have been disqualified by the background check. The notice will be in writing and will include any laws and rules that require disqualification.(2) If the department sends you a notice of disqualification, you will not receive a license, contract, certification, or be authorized to have unsupervised access to individuals with a developmental disability.[Statutory Authority: RCW 71A.12.030, 74.08.090.
