Section 388-76-10935. Washington protection and advocacy—Long-term care ombudsman—Official duties—Penalty for interference.

- The adult family home must not willfully interfere with a representative of the following in the performance of official duties:(1) Washington protection and advocacy system as defined under RCW 71A.10.080; or(2) Long-term care ombuds as defined under chapter 43.190 RCW, the state regulations for the long-term care ombudsman and under federal law.(3) The department must impose a civil penalty as per WAC 388-76-10975 for any such willful interference with a representative of the long-term care ombuds program.[Statutory Authority: Chapter 70.128 RCW.
