Section 388-76-10880. Emergency evacuation adult family home bedrooms.

  • The adult family home must ensure each resident with an evacuation capability of "assistance required" has a bedroom on a ground-level floor which:
    (1) Has at least one means of exiting the floor where the bedroom is located; to the outdoors, without going through any room including the garage; and
    (2) Exiting from the bedroom does not require the use of:
    (a) Stairs;
    (b) Elevators;
    (c) Chairlift; or
    (d) A platform lift.
