Section 388-61A-0210. What is the purpose of having minimum standards for domestic violence shelters and supportive services?

- The purpose of these rules is to have uniform statewide standards for domestic violence shelters and supportive services funded by DSHS. Minimum standards are necessary to provide rules for agencies that contract with us to provide shelter and supportive services for domestic violence victims. These standards address issues such as food, clothing, emergency housing, safety, security, and advocacy.[Statutory Authority: Chapter 70.123 RCW.
