Chapter 388-60. Domestic violence perpetrator treatment program standards. |
Section 388-60-0025. What is the purpose of this chapter?

- (1) This chapter establishes minimum standards for programs that treat perpetrators of domestic violence.(2) These standards apply to any program that:(a) Advertises that it provides domestic violence perpetrator treatment; or(b) Defines its services as meeting court orders that require enrollment in and/or completion of domestic violence perpetrator treatment.(3) These programs provide treatment only to perpetrators of domestic violence, including clients who are self-referred or those who are court-ordered to attend treatment.(4) An agency may administer other service programs in addition to domestic violence perpetrator treatment services; however, the domestic violence perpetrator treatment program must be considered a separate and distinct program from all other services the agency provides.[Statutory Authority: RCW 26.50.150.
