Section 388-27-0205. Does the adoptive parent need to let the department know if the family's circumstances change?

- The adoptive parent must inform the department's adoption support program of circumstances that might make the parent and the adoptive child either ineligible for adoption assistance payments or benefits or eligible for adoption assistance payments or benefits in different amounts. Such changes include but are not limited to:(1) A significant change in the child's condition;(2) A change in the marital status of the adoptive parent(s);(3) A change in the legal or physical custody of the child; or(4) A change in the adoptive family's mailing address.[Statutory Authority: RCW 74.13.031.
