Section 388-112-0275. What knowledge and skills must residential care administrator training include?

- Minimally, residential care administrator training must have at least forty-eight hours of class time, and include all of the following:(1) Business planning and marketing;(2) Fiscal planning and management;(3) Human resource planning;(4) Resident health services;(5) Nutrition and food service;(6) Working with people who are elderly, chronically mentally ill, or developmentally disabled;(7) The licensing process;(8) Social and recreational activities;(9) Resident rights;(10) Legal issues;(11) Physical maintenance and fire safety; and(12) Housekeeping.[Statutory Authority: RCW 18.20.090, 70.128.040, 74.39A.050, 34.05.020, 2000 c 121, and 2002 c 233.
