Section 388-106-0272. Who are qualified providers for skills acquisition training?

- (1) Long term care workers, who must only provide skills acquisition training on IADLs and the following ADL tasks: dressing, application of deodorant, washing hands and face, hair washing, hair combing and styling, application of make-up, menses care, shaving with an electric razor, tooth brushing or denture care, and bathing tasks excluding any transfers in or out of the bathing area; and(2) Contracted home health agencies, which may provide skills acquisition training on ADLs, IADLs or health related tasks that are within the profession's scope of practice.[Statutory Authority: RCW 74.08.090, 74.09.520, 74.39A.400 and 42 C.F.R. § 441.500-590.
