Section 388-01-070. When can a public record be examined?

- (1) Individuals can examine public records during DSHS office hours. The office hours are 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for legal holidays. Contact the public disclosure coordinator in the appropriate office to arrange a time to examine the public record.(2) In order to preserve the record or prevent interference in the performance of departmental duties, DSHS reserves the right to restrict an individual’s ability to examine or copy public records. This does not prevent DSHS from providing copies of the public record by mail.
