Section 365-80-160. Method for determining estimated values.

The department shall estimate the value of a state facility by formula, using the facility's total square footage and an estimated value per square foot, as developed by the department in consultation with the department of general administration and the association of Washington cities. State facility values so assigned shall be used solely for the purpose of determining a municipality's eligibility to enter into compulsory fire protection contract negotiations, and shall be reviewed annually and revised accordingly.
