Section 365-80-120. Definitions.

- (1) "Department" means the department of community development.(2) "Director" means the director of the department of community development.(3) "Fire protection services" mean those fire services normally provided by a city or town for the protection of persons and property, except equipment operated and facilities owned by a city or town.(4) "State facilities" mean buildings or facilities owned by the state or an agency or institution of the state, except those leased to a nontax-exempt person or organization, located within a city's or town's territorial limits.(5) "State agency" means any agency or institution of the state of Washington.(6) "Compulsory fire protection contract" means a fire protection contract as described in WAC 365-80-130.(7) "Municipality" means city or town.[Statutory Authority: Chapter 35.21 RCW.
