Section 308-30-080. Appeals of denials and revocations of notary appointments.

- Notices of appeals of denials and revocations of notary appointments must be in writing and mailed or delivered to the department of licensing. The written notification of appeal must be received by the department within twenty days of the date of denial or revocation or the right to appeal is waived. When the notification of appeal is mailed, the postmarked date will be accepted as the date of receipt by the department of licensing. Procedures on appeal will be as provided in the Administrative Procedure Act, chapter 34.05 RCW, and rules adopted thereunder.[Statutory Authority: RCW 42.44.190.
