Section 308-124A-760. Grading of examinations.

- (1) To pass the broker examination a minimum scaled score of 70 is required on each portion. The broker examination shall consist of two portions:(a) The national portion consisting of questions that test general real estate practices; and(b) The state portion consisting of questions that test on Washington laws and regulations related to real estate licensing.(2) To pass the managing broker examination a minimum scaled score of 75 is required on each portion. The managing broker examination shall consist of two portions:(a) The national portion consisting of simulation examination questions that test general real estate brokerage practices which include information gathering and decision-making aspects. A candidate must achieve a minimum scaled score of 75 on each aspect to pass the entire portion; and(b) The state portion consisting of questions that test on Washington laws and regulations related to real estate licensing, and the closing/settlement process.(3) A passing score for a portion of an examination is valid for a period of six months.
