- You must implement measures necessary to prevent unauthorized entry into permit-required confined spaces, when conducting authorized entry.Note:1. When removing entrance covers to open the confined space, protect entrants and those outside the confined space from hazards.2. Examples of measures to prevent unauthorized entry are signs, barricades, warning tape, and an attendant.
